John D'Agostino is a professional poker player from Connecticut.
Born in 1982, D'Agostino got interested in card games early in life and played in home games and online before to his 21st birthday. After he turned 21 and could legally play in a casino, he played regularly at Foxwoods and steadily worked his way up to the high limit games.
D'Agostino made it to the final table and placed 5th in one of the second season WPT events for $99,450. Then, at the 2004 United States Poker Championship, he blew a huge chip lead heading into the final table and ended up finishing in 6th place.
After another cash in a WPT event in season III, he made 2 more WPT final tabled in the fourth season, finishing in 4th place for $349,685 and in 2nd place to Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi for $591,312. He had another impressive WPT cash in season 5 for $96,587.
Although he only has 3 WSOP cashes for a total of $12,417, he has fared better in WPT events with 7 cashes and total WPT earnings of $1,236,789.
D'Agostino is another one of those poker players who has not yet had that big win to give him a lot of visibility in the poker world, but is consistently cashing in major tournaments as well as making money in cash. As of 2008, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,600,000. D'Agostino plays online at Full Tilt Poker as one of their Full Tilt Pros.
