Maureen "Mo" Feduniak, originally from England, began playing poker in the 1990's when she got interesting in the game after watching the World Series of Poker. Most people know her from the World Poker Tour Ladies' Night event where she played with Kathy Liebert, Clonie Gowen, Annie Duke, Jennifer Harman, and Evelyn Ng.
Her other notable TV appearance was when she was profiled during the 2003 WSOP coverage on ESPN when ESPN did one of their "Dead Money" segments. This was where ESPN explains to poker neophyte viewers how certain amateur players have virtually no chance of winning and are referred to as "dead money" by professional players who are just waiting to collect their chips. After showing a few of the amateur players who busted out, the camera showed Maureen busting out and Norman Chad called her dead money. Little did Chad know that Maureen is considered by many to be a solid player. As of 2009, she had 10 WSOP cashes (but no bracelets) and total WSOP earnings of $170,228, mostly from a $108,564 payout for finishing 2nd in the 2006 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event.
When she was growing up, her dream was to be a dancer. She took lessons since she was very young and danced professionally for a few years, before giving it up to start a family.
She later married Bob Feduniak, who is also a professional player. With him, she started playing low-limit cash games in Las Vegas before moving on to tournaments. In 1998, when Bob and Mo married, his wedding gift to her was a buy-in to the main event at the World Series of Poker. From then on, she and Bob have both been regulars at the WSOP.
